Agartala April 01: Tuesday marked the sixth death anniversary of the late Dilip Sarkar, a public leader, former minister, and MLA. The event, organized by the Badharghat Mandal, was held in the presence of prominent figures including Badharghat MLA Mina Rani Sarkar, Deputy Mayor Manik Das Dutta, Mandal president Manish Deb among others. The tribute ceremony took place at the Dilip Sarkar Barracks in Charipara School Para.

Addressing the event, MLA Mina Rani Sarkar expressed her commitment to upholding the values and principles of her brother, Dilip Sarkar, in both her personal and political endeavours. Her heartfelt words resonated with the attendees, highlighting the enduring legacy of the late leader.

As part of the commemoration, a voluntary blood donation camp was organized by the 14 Badharghat Mandal Yuva Morcha. The initiative witnessed an overwhelming response, with numerous young men and women stepping forward to donate blood.
